Toy comebacks

Feb 1st, 2009 by admin

One small benefit of being an unemployed dad is having more time to play games with Emma. Another sign of being unemployed is the increased importance of winning those games against your child. We’ve been playing Hungry Hungry Hippos since Santa brought it for Christmas, and a recent post I wrote on WalletPop about the comeback of certain toys includes Hungry Hungry Hippos. It’s a fun game but wears thin after awhile. The good part is it doesn’t take much skill, which is a bonus for me.

During my down time from the job hunt, I’m also getting good at hide-and-seek, The Ladybug Game, The Memory Game and Hi-Ho Cherry-O.
