Another time suck

This is how you can waste your time if you’re unemployed. This is how I want to waste my time. NBA Live 10 comes out Oct. 6 and I want it.
Will I buy it? Doubtful. I haven’t picked up my PSP since I was laid off in June 2008. But if anything would get it out of its dust jacket, it would be this game.
We have a Wii system in the living room, and while it’s a lot of fun, I rarely play it. Until today, when my wife got me the Wii Sports Resort game. It’s a lot of fun, but nothing like NBA Live or any of the EA Sports games.
These things can suck your time, but I’m going to go take a break from the computer and continue reading “Super Freakonomics” so I can review it for WalletPop. The video game’s siren sings my name, but reading calls louder. Maybe I’ll come up with some economic cause and effect of playing video games while looking for work.
